The aim of Of-this.world is to provide everyone with a provable identity.
We have created the Intergalactic Idenity, a collection of UCWIDs refering to raw and normalized data.

Normalized data can be used to ensure that an identity is not being copied.
Raw idenity can include biomarkers along with raw (pre-normalized) data.
A process of proving identity uses hashes of both of the raw and the normalized idenity.
The Intergalactic Identity is a has of the raw and normalized idenities.

There is no reason for this website or any other website to collect all of your Identity components. So, this site provides you, the user, with a way to upload you biomarker data to the browser and does not let it go beyond that.
Much of the identity creation is done in your browser. And, not on our servers or any one else's servers.

This web site allows you to create an identity. You may use it to gain access to websites that support its use. Also, you may perform safe data acquistion on some of these sites.
Also, this website will provide you a subdomain corresponding to your name. Your website is a management dashboard, which you can use to host compliant applications. You can manage your data uploads to supporting sites, give persmission to site to perform transactions, and more.
The aim here, is that instead of giving away all your personal data to use a website, you get to take back control of your user experience. You can take command of your relationship with providers. And, keep your personal data to yourself.

It is a string with a special format derived from a secure hash of content that you make up about yourself.
You may use this identity anywhere that accepts it which means other website and concerns.
How this site uses your intergalactic identity:
  • This website associates your intergalactic identity with responses to your messages (e.g contact). You may return to this site to retrieve responses to your messages.
  • You may use your intergalactic identity to start a session with this site (i.e. login).
Your personal information will not be stored on our servers.
Your personal information will not be tied to our domain within your browser storage.
Instead... your personal information will be associated with a virtual URL tied to your identity.
